Latest LIRR Service Information
I just received an e-mail from the LIRR press office with information on service. Here is the latest:
Long Island Rail Road passenger service remains suspended systemwide in both directions. The suspension will continue for the overnight due to the blizzard.
NYC Transit is honoring LIRR tickets for subway service at Penn, Atlantic Terminal and Jamaica. The LIRR will continue throughout the overnight to operate equipment trains to clear snow from the tracks. We plan to run a holiday schedule Monday.
Thankfully I took care of my errands over the last couple of days. I am thinking I will be doing all my work from home until at least Tuesday night.
