Metro-North Service Restoration Details
The MTA Metro-North Railroad just released service restoration details literally a couple of seconds ago. Here are the details:
Metro-North Railroad service, which was suspended last night in advance of a major winter nor’easter, will resume today on a Sunday schedule. Trains will resume at approximately 11 a.m. on the Harlem and Hudson Lines and at approximately 1 p.m. on the New Haven Line. Customers who use the Port Jervis Line or Pascack Valley Line should listen to announcements from NJ Transit about resumption of service on those lines.
Customers should listen for station announcements, continue to check the MTA’s website at mta.info or the Metro-North Train Time app for service updates. Customers should anticipate some delays, crowded conditions and allow for additional travel time. Customers should take care when traveling during inclement weather, and use caution when entering and exiting trains, and on platforms and staircases.
Roads remain treacherous and customers are advised to avoid unnecessary travel.
Complete schedules are available online at www.mta.info.
